Scifinut:  lol

Curlywhirly:  (lol is laughing out loud)

Robin1:  well, join the YMCA

Robin1:  we go as a family sometimes

Dr. Fristad:  that is great!

Robin1:  and then in the morning after dropping the kids off I go workout by myself

Dr. Fristad:  everyone can do their own thing or stick together

Robin1:  yep

Scifinut: I’ve been going to lunch with some friends once a month

Curlywhirly:  pedicure with a good foot massage

Robin1:  and with their weight issues...

Supernova:  that sounds wonderful robin, I hope to achieve workout alone time within the next year

Robin1:  trying to get them more active

Robin1:  I have lost 10 lb so far

Curlywhirly:  watercolor painting

Curlywhirly:  and web design =)

Dr. Fristad:  exercise is a great antidepressant AND it addresses the weight issues--do you have a dog, Frisbee and park nearby?

Curlywhirly:  Good job, Robin!

Robin1:  and my diabetes is doing ok now too as well as my hypertension

Robin1:  yes, we have a golden

Supernova:  great, robin

Learningmom_1bp11yo1:  nurture myself?  ummm, nap.  that count’s right?

Dr. Fristad:  you bet a nap counts!

Dr. Fristad:  how do all your kids do with pets?

Curlywhirly:  we talk about taking care of ourselves a lot on the boards =)

Margo:  sounds crazy, but working for the census bureau part time helps

Crackerjack:  mine ignores them when he’s doing well, is mean to them when he’s not

Curlywhirly:  makes sense to me Margo!

Dr. Fristad:  when kids in our groups build the social circle in their tool kit, often dogs or cats are the best “social” entry

Margo:  ours keep dying  :-[

Dr. Fristad:  C.J,-are your pets fun to play with?

Supernova:  when hypomanic/manic we had to keep ds away from the dog--but now that he is stable he is good w/the dog--he enjoys the connection/calming

Robin1:  right trying to get them to socialize as well

Robin1:  with their PDD they are not very social

Robin1:  and bp mix

Supernova:  ((Margo))

Curlywhirly:  oh Margo so sorry

Dr. Fristad:  yes--does your local park & rec have any special needs kids’ activities?

Crackerjack:  hehe oh ya a lovable chocolate lab who stands ready to lap up any attention anybody may direct his way, even accidentally LOL

Supernova:  lol C.J.

Dr.Fristad:  let’s hear it for labs--they’re big and sturdy and can take a lot!
